When I wrote yesterdays post, I forgot a few of the words Mattie could say. Along with the ones I listed, she can also say "hot" and "ack" (as in gross). Today, I taught her the word "up". She will come over to one of us wanting to be held and will squeal. As I said, the squealing can work my nerves quick! So, I kept telling her "Up, up" and then I lifted her up into my lap. She then looked at me and said "up" and gave me the biggest smile! Wow, do I ever love being a mom! Teaching them new things is so rewarding!!
Now if I could just teach them to stay out from behind the couch & the recliner, I'd be all set for awhile LOL
